What Comes After KCSE?
A result was breaking the peace between parents and children. The forum put students, parents, and mentors in one room, and named other roads forward.

The forum came out of houses Golden Hope already knew. KCSE results arrived, and with them a particular kind of damage: shame, a quarrel that did not end, a young person who could not see a next step and so reached for something that made the week go quiet.
Students came. Parents came. Counselors and mentors came. The conversation covered work and study, and also the feeling in the room, which is easy to skip when everyone is staring at a grade.
Other paths were named, including colleges such as Tawuun. The forum was not only for Muslim youth. Distress after results does not ask for a person’s religion before it sits down in the house.
The aim was modest and urgent. Lower the panic. Show that a single paper is not the whole of a life.
