Every Friday, We Visit the Sick
After Asr, members and revert-class students visit people at home and in the wards of Kenyatta and Mbagathi.

The visit is fixed to the week. Friday, after Asr. Members of Golden Hope go, and so do students from the revert class. Visiting is part of how they learn to belong to a community, not only how they learn to pray.
Some visits are at home. Some are in hospital, including Kenyatta National Hospital and Mbagathi Hospital. The wards are entered with permission. The team does not try to do the work of a clinician. They sit, they encourage, they make du‘a, and they move to the next bed while the afternoon still allows it.
It is a small programme on paper. It is one of the ones the people who receive it can describe without a brochure.
